Game Overview
Project “Last Meal” is a project that is currently in the ideas phase. The current general premise of the game is where you and up to three friends are death row prisoners and in exchange for not being executed you have agreed to be set up to run a restaurant together.The game will allow the players to decide what kind of restaurant they’re going to run which will represented through their menu and the restaurant’s cosmetics.

Inspirations
This co-op cooking sim was inspired by horror co-op games such as: Lethal Company, Content Warning, and REPO as these games contain gameplay that focuses on cooperation and creates tension between them when they try to achieve a common goal. Inspired by the high-stakes co-op nature of these titles, I was able to fuse concept this with the game’s business management portion. In particular, I also was inspired by the game Schedule 1 for elements for the business management where players have each their own roles and get to expand their business via unlocking new equipment and recipes. The combination of co-op survival and slowly building a business made an exciting game dynamic as it created a tension between thought, survival, and progression.
